I just wanna get a feedback to see if it's worth putting up for auction on Ebay.
I'm selling the original cut rubber plate for the battery grip setup that can be seen here :
http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...analeica+setup
I have no use in it anymore since I've made myself a new one.
the reason I made myself a new one was because of the casting line that can be seen in the back of the plate (pic 2), call me an anal perfectionist , but as an industrial design student I'm annoyed by imperfections , even as minor as this:?.
Plate is in great shape.
getting a rubber plate at the right thickness and softness is hard to find , let alone cutting it to the right shape( hardest part of the modifying process of the grip)
Would anyone be interested in buying it?

Thanks ,

Amir

P.S. there are more pictures of the grip in action on the second page of the original thread.

Ebay charges 35 cents to list an auction starting at under $5.. How painful can that be?? One of a kind item.. Never to be seen again... Some sucker might give you a lot of money for it. Never know with Ebay. The bigger issue for a buyer would be postage from Isreal..

Good luck,
Jeff

Amir wish I had seen the post before you went to ebay. I wouild have liked to buy it from you and make the conversion as you have done. I inquired about selling pieces under another user name in your initial thread . Cheers. Bob

I'm really sorry Bob.
This was a last minute decision . I don't plan on selling anymore of these mod related pieces as I don't have any spare ones left.
unless, this one sells for a good price, these take a lot of time and hard work to make and if I see it's worth it, I may be making some more , though it's still a longshot...
I just happened to have an extra piece which I didn't see any need for.
I've been getting a lot of emails and requests from different people regarding the mod ever since it was posted , asking me to do the mod for them or sell them pieces.
I thought this would be a good opportunity for that.
You could bid on it at Ebay if you have an account there. that's all I could offer you for now I'm afraid.

you should make some more and sell them with metal plates, like the one you made for your camera..I'd definitely buy those items and I'm sure others will too!
