Today I tried my new 383 Sunpak. I attached it to the FZ20 and took 3 photos. I went to the menu tochange with some settings and set the camera to the "A" position, the flash did not fire. I put the camera back to "P" and it still didn't fire. No matter what I did the flash didn't fire, so I popped it on my old Nikon 35MM film camera to see if it was the Sunpak and it worked fine. DID I FRY MY FZ20???? I know many of you use the 383 Sunpak with your FZ10 & 20 so it cant be the voltage thing. Any thoughts? Your input is greatly appreciated.

Make sure you didn't turn oof the flash by hitting the 4 way switch. The flash icon in display should not be X'd out.

Thanks nooner & beernutz, that's exactly what it was. I just figured it out this morning before I logged on and red your post. With my poor eyesight I didn't see the X on the tiny flash icon.

Thanks again guys, that was a big relief. I thought I fried my FZ20.
