nice shot, Will... did you really have the 6T on the camera when you took that? i though the Nikon lens was only for macro work!!

I'm usually not a big fan of partial B&W/color photography But it really works in this picture. The dash of red against the gray background reminds me of a famous abstract painting that was very popular in my younger days. Can't remember the artist, but it was one red dot against a monotone gray background. It worked then and it works now in your picture. Very creative

Quite striking Willow. Since joining this forum I've marvelled at thethe unique perspective you lend to your insect macros. It's now very interesting to see you turn that towards subjects other than insects.

(Not that by any means you should slow down on the insect posts!!!)
