Whew. EXCELLENT !!!. Great sharp details, right down to the ocelli in the last shot. All 3 have different reasons for liking them. All very well done IMO.

excellent work stoney - the darn thing almost looks <gulp> . .. cute. It takes a good photo to give a hornet some personality- the second pic is almost puppy like!

Simply amazing shots.. I am a newbie to photography and these are probably the best macros I have ever seen.

Can you tell me what I need to buy other than the Macro lens? Where to buy it? Best prices? Thank you very much.

If you have a FZ3/FZ4/FZ5 and want to buy a DCR-250 or DCR-150, you need nothing else. For the FZ10/FZ15/FZ20, you need an adapter (others can tell you more abuot it).

In the EU, the DCR-250is available for35-60 €. I don't know about prices in the US or other countries.
