These were taken this Saturday at the Petty NASCAR driving experience at Chicagoland Speedway. I took these by pre-focusing where I wanted the shot and then holding the focus while I waited for the cars to come out of the turn. Then I panned with the car until they were where I focused to. All were taken in P mode from the pit wall.

Now, where is the Tcon when you need it...guess I need one of those:-)

This one had the slowest shutter at 1/320th. I wish I would have tried a couple on S mode and moved the shutter to 1/200-1/250 to try for a little more "movement" shown in the shots.

nice pan shots... i think i like the first one best, but all are good. panning can be a tricky technique, especially with the FZ'z, it seems, but it looks like you've got it down!
