Well it seems that it is a rite of passage that once you get a FZ you take a close up of the moon. So here is mine.

On tripod, full 48x zoom, A 4.0 S 1/20th

I did the same thing with my FZ15 and found that the 48x makes the picture really soft. But hey, I had to do it.

The only thing wrong with you picture is that you only got half of the moon. I think you got cheated and should ask for your money back! :lol:

When you have the time, give it another go at 11x zoom only using f5.6 or higher. You should be able to achieve a much sharper shotwithout the use of the digital zoom :-). This one taken at f7.3
