Thanks for the comments. The Mountain Laurel is Pennsylvania's state flower. It's a small, sticky flower on a shrub type plant. Each of the pink things opens up intoa pretty blossom.

WARNING: This and other Laurels have poisonous leaves which may be browsed by extremely hungry livestock. Milk produced by cows that eat the leaves may be poison as may honey produced by bees that visit the flowers. Watch your cows and bees.
