Hi all, I just wanted to share where I spent most every summer of my life. I've had my fz5 alittle over a month. Still learning.....I'd appreciate any comments. bentleysmom

This is the path that leads to the beach....I'm a slow learner when it comes to all of this but I'm enjoying it. Constructive criticism always helps one learn. bentleysmom

Nice shots, particularly the third one with shells - looks very natural, the foam and the scattered shells giving somewhat of a 3-D effect.

I agree - all three are great shots but the shells are my fave! A lovely beach nearby AND Bentley - lucky girl you are!

The first picture doesn't seem quite right to me. your eye is not led anywhere. The path makes your eyes look in one direction, but the gap in the grasses makes them look in another so it would appear there is no "focal point".

The other two are really lovely, especially the shells.

please don't think I'm being nasty, and I'm only learning my self, but it is the one thing I have tried to understand so far... having an object that your eyes rest upon.

Hope this helps, otherwise keep up these great shots.

All are very good, but I too like #3 the best. Bet it took forever to gather up all those shells from all over the beach and put them all in one place. :-)
