I just received my Nikon 6T and tried a macro shot. I am brand new at this so what I am looking for is some help. This picture was hand held (should have got out my tripod) and the data was - Aperture Priority - F8 - 1/1600 - ISO 100. My question is, am I close to the proper setting or should I be doing something different.

The second picture is about the same settings, just more zoom. Comments would be appreciated.

Pretty nice shots for starters , im no pro but my thoughts areuse a tripod also a filter and hood if possoble with really bright light like these .The slightest vibration can cause a blur , i just received my remote from phayee so ill be using that alot on the macros .Great remote for $15 bucks :|have fun doing it :G
