The irreplaceable FZ1v2 is still the only game in town when it comes to infrared. All shots at iso200. White balance set manually with hoya r72 ir filter attached. Helicon noise reduction applied to all. Color swapwith PS6 channel mixer.

Fred... all three of these are simply outstanding. Three should be blown up and framed, but I think two is extrodinary as well.

Happy M-day.

Thanks for all the nice comments. The fz1v2 is really a very special camera. It's a shame Panasonic or some other outfit can't see their way to continue production. Just do it a service to mankind. As is. Don't do a thing to it. Price it a $250 and sell it forever. Can they keep us supplied with that like-a-leica glass, Nick?

Can it make giant prints? No... and who cares? Has there ever been a more versatile camera? Add a wide angle converter, and a digi-slave flash (...follow the FZ-1 faq) and there has never - in the history of photography, been a camera as versitile as this for the money if you take the time to learn its capabilities and limitations.

... course, the skill of the photographer has a lot to do with it. Once again, excellent ir captures, Fred. These are special - your best posts yet (though the clothes line ir was excellent too...). I love the second and third, and the first is also fantastic. Bravo! Pro-level stuff! They're really among my favorite postes - ever - on this site. Pure photographic magic.
