On the weekend i purchased a 2nd hand working sunpak auto 220 with swivel head (for your enjoyment *s*)

My question is: How does the auto 220 compare to the 383 (my
original choice) ALSO are there any places i can download a free manual as none came with this.

Any thoughts or information is appreciated.

I don't want to jinx you, but have you measured the trigger voltage to make sure it isn't damaging your camera? You want it to be less than 24 volts.

I measured my Sunpak 383 auto at around 3 volts, but it's more recent than your, hmm, admirably ancient device. :-)

Cheers for the heads up. I'll have to check out the triggers voltage.
