I think he's looking pretty calm about it all - must be well fed and relaxed but can't resist the urge of nature! Nice shot!

wonderful! Very humorous as well as you can tell that the poor moggie has no chance of catching the bird but he still sits there in typical cat style believing himself invisible!
Thanks for sharing it!

Oh I dunno. Pidgeons are pretty darn slow! Depends on how 'street smart' the cat is Perhaps he's waiting for the burd to turn just a wee bit more before pouncing. :G

Thanks all for comments, this cat is a card real fun to watch, actually he is well fed, pure white like an angel :?

Doves.....lovley birds but easy meat for cats.

I saw the picture story there the cats head peeping over the wall was only a matter of zooming in composing and framing and wait patiently for the right expression on the cats face.

I used f2.8 ap priority and at 1/160 full 12x zoom obviously OIS helped in hindsight f4 (1/80)may have been sharper more DOF but I did not want to miss the shot, its winter here so light is low.

Boyzo,

I am glad I looked at this one. Put a smile on my sour mug. Just what I needed to end my day.

Mahalo,

Tom

Yeah, I could tell from other posts you were not having too much fun today :-) I guess you could say I'm not doing too well either... doves looking like pidgeons to me today :-)
