Thepic within this collage in the upper right corner (myself handling the snake as I did the shot in the lower right corner) was made by a friend of mine with a Nikon Coolpix 8800. All the others with my FZ20, no dipoter used.
I have always liked to catch snakes, and obviously I release them with no injury.
Yet as you can see in the upper left frame of the collage (sadly with burnt HL, but I had few time to do that cause it was nervous) the snake (a colubridae, elaphe quatuorlineata) did wistle for I was holding it preventing from escaping.
It was more than 1,5m long.

PS not venomous snake, the same species used in the procession of the gallery below, which I already presented in this forum some weeks ago

Excellent shots. I really like what you did with the frame in the first picture. I will the leave handling snakes to you.

The frame is made with Eye Candy 4000 ('Cutout' filter).
