Took this pic of my friends cat when my wife and I were over for dinner. It wasshot it in very low light. I kind of like the effect, it reminds me a little of how Rembrandt handled lighting in his paintings....What do you think?

Your opinions and critiques are always welcome.

I liked your cat avatar the other day. Perhaps its natural for this feline, but you captured a a very good wide eyed compelling expression.

the cat almost looks surprised! i like the pic, though... has an almost eerie quality to it... had the cat been one of those with half-closed, slitted eyes, it would be a sinister image indeed!

Love the shot ! (thoughI think I would tone down the reflection of the metal on the collar as I find it just a little distracting.)
