Sometimes you just don't have time to get the right setup. Sometimes, maybe you get a case of lazies, but still want a shot of what's going on. Or maybe like me, you just have a lot of learning to do. In any case it looks like the scene mode on the FZ isn't so bad to use from time to time. My son wanted to use of some left over fire works, so we took a few outside after sundown to play with. I took out the FZ-3 just to see how the "fireworks" mode in the camera would work. I'm actually pretty happy with it for just a few quick snaps and no setup. Here are a couple samples. They were all taken during twilight so it's not totally dark out.

They look pretty good. I'm wondeing what the long purple bar to the left is.

You win That is the part of the sparkler that you hold on to. He was trying to hold it still. Good thing it wasn't moving any more then it was. :G
