observed a grazing occultation of Jupiter/moon last night and
I thought I might share,

FZ20 : f5.2 - 1/100" - ISO 80 - spot - manual, 16-6-2005 - 8:44 pm

Impressive.

Pity that the moon is not in sharp focus (I think it should have been possible to have both in focus/hyperfocal). Or it is the effect of digital zoom.

Were youusing a tripod?

digital zoom is the culprit for the soft pic, just wanted to get a little closer to pick up the planet. I did use a tripod though.

as 4 the fern, these guys could be cousins
