As kindly suggested by Boyzo I had a go of making my pics of today into b/w pics.
Here is one...and he is right. They do become something else...very dramatic:

The clouds make this a very interesting photograph.

It's certainly thought-provoking. I go to a lot of trouble to keep street lamps out of my photos (if at all possible), but this one would be less effective without it.

I love that! The clouds definitely make the shot...

I feel like therounded frame distracts a little bitfrom the photo though and the text on the bottom looks a less professionalthan the very high quality photo!

NICE WORK!

Wow! Very, verynice. I love sky pics and those clouds are really something. Whether in B&W or color, they are all excellent. The perspective is very effective and the cloud texture is amazing.

I wanted to respond to your color posts yesterday, but havehad trouble posting from my Mac since the recent changes to the website. I'mposting from thePC at work for now. Great photos. Look forward to seeing more.

Thanks! I suppose it will be some time I will get to see a sky like that again. So it was a lucky chance to notice them as i was walking home.
Here is one more but this time using an old building two blocks away from the others:
