I've been catching a few picture of the animals in the back yard.

Those are very good photos. I try to catchbirds in their natural habitat. That just isn't working too well yet for me. Especially those little flitty things. I have learned more about the subjects and got to see some fairly neet things. I watched a disshoveled woodpecker looking like he had just been fired from a cannon walk around the branches of a tree as though he was wearing gravity boots. It made no difference if he was on the bottom, side or top of a branch. He never flew from one branch to the next he just walked to where he wanted to go.

I haven't had the time to get out in there natural habitat. Too much going on at work and home, but vacation isnot fare away! My wife watch a Redheaded woodpecker destroy a fence post in the back yard to get to an insect inside of it. I ask her why she didn't take a picture of it and the answer was "I don't know how to use your new camera." Hopefully she will have the interest to learn in the future.
