very good job! the only giveaway is the eyes... in the original, the boy is looking at you, in the edit, he appears to be looking up and to his left a bit... other than that, an exceptional job!

It looks like the IR filter faded out the iris slightly to the right side (right side for the boy that is, left for us looking at the picture) of both eyes. I think that is what's giving it the altered look of eye direction. Maybe if you did some colour filling to the right of the iris, I bet it'll look just like the original.

Great work on using the IR filter though - creative!

Excellent job. The key is, would anyone be able to spot any problems with the photo if they didn't have the original to compare to and I don't think they would. I have seen a number of touched up photos and many you can tell have been touched up, yours you can't. Nice job :-)
