Mine is supposed to ship tomorrow. I'm in slight panic mode because I was so excited and supposedly they have enough to ship but won't take more orders!!!!! I know I'll get my money back, but then I won't have a camera.

My budget was around $350. If it is out of stock, is the F4 pretty good or should I wait a while and get the FZ20. I had looked at k-m z2,z3 and z5.

Bridget

So you would stick with the fz15 and not go to the fz4 or a minolta?

Thanks!

I like the size of my FZ15 better than the F4 as the F4 just seems to small for me. Consumer Reports just gave the FZ20 the top score for digitals in the 4mp to 5mp range. And the FZ15 is just the little sister of the FZ20. I made a list of the features that were important to me and when I completed my search, the FZ15 was on the top of my list. The FZ20 was second but I just didn't have the extra $100 when I considered the other stuff I wanted to buy.

There are a lot of good cameras out there, but I think the Panasonic is really good for the price. If you get a camera with a long lens, make sure you get Image Stabilization (IS) as some of the long mega zoom cameras do not have it, I don't know why but they don't.

These are of course personal opinions. If you can get your hands on the FZ4 and FZ15 or 20, see how they feel and what you like.
