I am sure there are a million shots of the "Half Dome sunset" @ Yosemite. Here are a couple of mine...hope you guy & gals like them

I left the polarizer on for one of the shots just to bring out the clouds (which were very sparce to begin with).

please give me your valuable comments

Great images #3 is a Gem Ansell Adams must be smiling
#1 seems noisy ?? still nice shot
Yosemite is way Nth. of LA quite a drive... I would love to go there tho'

I was there last Saturday and missed out on the clouds; they really add to the shot. I wish I had more time there but we just made one short day hike - here is my shot of that fabulous monolith.

Hello everyone, thanks for all your valuable input. I am glad you all liked these shots.

The reason for the excess noise in the first shot might be because i turned the saturation setting on my FZ20 to high. One of these days I promise to figure out how to cut out noise using PS or one of the many other programs. I just hate using it over the entire picture cause it makes everything look hazy. I know that there is a way to apply noise reduction just on the sky...i need to look that up.
