this friday I went to the Miami Metro Zoo for the first time and had a blast, beautiful animals and a great time. took 112 pictures that i'm keeping, and I have 19 of those formatted to go up on my website/portfolio once I get it back up. The last picture is of a spider i saw hanging on its web yesterday night in my girlfriend's backyard. hope you like them

Excellent pictures. I have to get down to Metro Zoo sometime soon. I havent been down there since Hurricane Andrew hit. Supposedly there is a nice zoo up here in Palm Beach County but Im sure its nowhere near as nice as Metro.

thanks guys, it was a great time, cant wait to go back and see whati missed, i was dying to get a picture of the clouded leopard but it was impossible...next time i have to bring the tripod along.

now im going to try and contact the Zoo to offer them my pictures for their website, as i have pictures of animals they dont haveup on the website

ooh what a dream if they would hire me to photograph every animal there:!::|

thanks Hiroshi,I find myself very prone to taking close up of animal faces, i guess that's what I like the most. and that is the first waterfall picture i've taken that i've liked enough to post anywhere. i wish i had a nd filter and try it again

yes it was, you've got to love it. there was this guy with one of the film canon eos with what looked like a 80-200 zoom lens or around that range...hehehe, i was getting so much closer. still would have loved to have something like a Canon 20D with the 500mm 5.6L. or for now, i guess buying a tcon will have to do:blah:
