I still use the factory strap on my FZ20, which is pretty lame. Any recommendations for a padded, comfortable strap you folks like? Thanks.

My vote is for the Tamrac N-45.

They also have a matching bag strap. Both well manufactured and very comfortable.

I am trying to find a quick-disconnect one that does not leave 6 inches of staps hanging from each side of your camera when you disconnect it.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I was looking at this opticarry site, the strap hooks up to your back belt loop. I wonder what you're supposed to do when you need to go to the lav?
Doesn't seem like a bad idea - and you don't have to worry about your pants falling down, either.

I use Pro Tech neoprene straps on all my cameras: Lumix FZ20, Nikon FE2, FM2, and FA. They come in various widths and colors. The wider ones are great when I attach the motor drive. They interchange with each other, and there is a fairly small strap left hooked to the camera mounting lugs.

This is a design that is long overdue.
It stays off the neck and conforms to your shoulder.
