Well it was quite an experience floating above the earth with my wife. I did not get all the photos I wanted to get, due to helping the ground crew in getting the balloon ready for flight. I did manage to get enough photos to make me happy. I must say that in the beginning I was nervous, but when we stepped into the wicker basket and started lifting off I calmed down. There was a total of 8 passengers and the pilot on this particular trip. In our hour long flight we traveled between 8 and 10 miles and reached an altitude of over 6,200', which took us up past the temperature/ haze line. When your above this line, it's next to impossible to get a good ground shot because your trying to shoot through the haze. I figured instead of posting pics here and wasting everyones time for them to load, I just included a link of some of the photos I took while on our flight. Thanks for everyones help. BH

I really like the one where you can see the shadow of your balloon, but they are all great!
