Some pict's from London's subway system and the musicians that hang around. One taken a few weeks back of a guitarist at Bank station and the others taken today outside Sheperds Bush Station of that sax player.

Pict 1. Dolmo playing at Bank Station. Taking the shots of him playing in a poorly lit tunnel was hard - a lot looked good on LCD but weren't even at ISO400 although I could get a decent shutter speed. I like this one, just wish it was a wee bit shaper and I would be a lot happier.

Awesome shots!! I especially like #1 and #3 (and #4 lol). I don't think the noise in #1 is a problem - gives it that nice grainy look, works well with the B&W + the emotion conveyed.

#3 stands out for me. The way the light reflects off of the shiny sax framed by the body and hands of the black player is excellent. The dark surroundings helps the sax achieve prominence with the subdued presence of the player strengthening the picture. The hand in the forefront reminding you that the instrument is nothing without a soul driving it. Great composition and a great picture.

My favorite is #2. I like the expression on his face. Also like the colored close-up of the Sax.
