I have been way too intimidated by the quality of photos on the forum to post my pictures on a regular basis. I did take a macro of a tiger lily a couple days ago that I wanted to share. Please let me know if you like it.

Great FZ5 picture, Gloria.

Maybe it's looked even better if you had resized it a little less, but even like that it strikes the same. And I d also framed it, for the shot is worth, and perhapsI would have even balanced the background to make it true black

Thanks to each of you for taking the time to comment on my photo. I got my Fz5 in early May, and had never had any camera other than a little point and shoot. I have read every post since last April, and studied the pictures posted here.I have been extremely fortunate to gain a mentor from the forum who takes the time to answer my multitude of questions and continually urges me to do a little better each time I pick up the camera. (Thank you, Tom!!) I appreciate Narmer's suggestions and I will try to incorporate them. My passion is taking bird pictures and I have gotten a few where I amazed myself! but very few. I would love to get an insect picture like BM's grasshopper or the dragon flies that have been posted in the past.
