There are some young blackbirds in our garden. They aren't shy so I was able to photograph them for more than half an hour, sitting in a distance of less than 2 m.

And this is Mickey. Mickey lives in our composter. He just came out to say hello when I was shooting the blackbirds. I think he has put on weight. :G

Stoney, rare to get so close to any wild critters this side of spiders and the zoo.
Nice when it happens. The exposure, color and definition are very good. Thank you! Mickey, stay in the compster, and no population explosion into the house.

All the bird shots are wonderful (sharp and detailed).

I especially like the one of Micky.

Very good shots they are clear and sharp. Really like how clear and detailed the eyes are I think I can see your reflection. Hope that's not really Willard in the compost pile.
