Considering that the weather was totally "June gloom" gray, requiring longer shutter speeds than a nice sunny day, I was still impressed with the ability of the sports setting to stop the action. Everything was hand-held, panning on the move, zoomed out, and all camera settings on auto, other than to set in sports mode.

Cropped and resized only..

And a couple blocks down the road, couldn't resist stopping the actin on the skimboarder as he bounced back off the wave...
