A weir lies across the Oldman River near my home town. This is home for a squadron of about 50 pelicans. Capturing them as they float on the water is no problem, but trying to grab a good sharp image while in flight proved to be a bit of a challenge. I did manage to get a few shots of these very awkward looking but extremely graceful in flight birds with my FZ20.
