From the EXIF: 1/100, f5.2, ISO 100

Looks kind of noisy for ISO 100. Nice contrast though. Post-processed (IE: auto-levels)? Thanks for posting!

Steven

Edit: I see now that you post processed.

July 21st was the second closest perigee of the year so that would have been a good time for a moon shot. August 19th is the 3rd closest of the year so get your cameras ready if you want a good chance at another one.

This was taken at 7:30 am on Saturday July 23rd. FZ5. How do you take a picture of the moon? I think mine looks kind of crummy. I didn't do any pp. Any suggestions. I just took itwith simple mode.

I use Manual mode bridgetb, hows the FZ5? you really need a resonably fast shutter speed as far as i know, not really sure what else, this one was handheld, maybe i should have used a tripod.

Cheers.

No comments on that last one?
well i've got one more, and now i'll concentrate on the very little wildlife we get in our garden
this one was with my new 2.2x raynox lens

this is the Ps'd version, just levels, and a tiny bit of noise reduction:

and the original straight from the camera with just a Crop:

Cheers.
