Thanks for the nice comments, John and vIZinquest. The simplicity and beauty of ir is truely humbling. You can take the very mundane tomystical levels of enjoyment and enlightenment. Unfortunately,few (if any)of the new digicams are sensitive enough to ir. Hold onto your fz1!

Glad 2 C ur still around Fred! and u 2 Boyzo/John! I love the pics. Hope u don't mind but the first one is now the wallpaper on my laptop! I am sure u probably posted it b4, but do you have a link to more of ur infrared pics?

I must agree with you guys. I still have my FZ1v2 and I can't sell it even though I just bought a FZ10 for critical shots (I needed the added resolution). The IR capabilities of this camera sells by itself. I also took an IR shot (I hope you don't mind Fred) last month of one of my friends.

The longer you longer the better they get!
It is like a night shot with full sunlight.
Panasonic should sell a special astro edition with a modified IR mask.
