What white balance settings are you using? If I'm using the flash directly, I usually just stay in auto and the results are ok. However, when bouncing off the ceiling, which I do prefer to do, I often get a yellowish cast on every photo. I've been compensating by using the Flash white balance setting and shifting it by +1 towards blue. This seems to help alot, but I'm still not completely satisfied with the results.

Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance......

The color of the ceiling and walls effects the WB. Since you can't do a manual WB with flash you may have to adjust it in PP. Some have good luck with the Light Sphere since it bounces the light with no color cast.

Don't have a FZ-20 but with my FZ-10 my flash results got alot better when I purhcased the StoFen OmniBounce for the Sunpak 383. Setting WB to the flash preset withthe OmniBouce gives me the best results

Ditto. I use a different diffuser but I seem to get my best results using the preset flash WB and Program mode, then manually adjusting the power on the flash.

There is a site that I had ventured into last year when trying to decide what camera to purchase. The site was kept by an individual named Jim Zimmer. He had done a personal review of the FZ-20 that appealed to me. In it he includes his findings with the Sunpak 383

I hope that this link below works for you....
