The first two I met while walking through the fields.

This is Aphantopus hyperantus, its english name is Ringlet.



This isa Marbled White (Melanargia galathea).



The last oneis a Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta). It often visitesour garden sometimes in the evening.

perfect shots, the 2nd one is a "Schachbrettfalter", in english "marbled white"

Those of us using a black background cannot see it. I highlighted right after "Here is a" and it shows there is in fact text. Black on black = can't see !

The admiral is great.
You can see how he enjoys the evening light!
I am still waiting for vanessa cardui "Diestelfalter", but I fear he will not visit the northern part this year. Have you got them down there?
