You couldn't give him more precise name
Number one is outstanding, but from the other hand I usually prefer natural background (green, brown etc.) not red like in your pictures, but yes I have to admit - red backgroud does make these pictures more attractive.

hangin' in there. :G summer seems to be a busy time, and like a lot of other 'regulars' here, i haven't had time to post as much as i used to. haven't seen a post from Nick in ages, and some of the others seem to have disappeared, or at least don't make their presence known much anymore. i try to stop by at least once every couple of days, to see who's posting what, but sometimes i don't have much of my own to offer... i gotta admit, my FZ has given me quite a collection of shots, though, and many of them have made their way onto my walls!

i'm planning a trip to the Washington coast in a couple of weeks, and am hoping to bring back a couple of SD cards full of nice seascapes and spectacular sunsets... weather permitting, of course! i'll definitely be posting some of those, once i get home.

how 'bout you? haven't seen many of your stellar macros lately, at least until your li'l treefrog showed up. whatcha been up to?

impressive as always willow - and I really like the pink background - it does make them very much like portrait shots to me. Carry on . . .
