This one is most likely about as good as the Sunpak 383.

But they will all work.

Genece is right. Most if not all speedlite works as long as its below the max 24v the FZ20 hotshoe can take.

I m currently using a Metz 36-C2 and happy with it. I have tried using my old trusty Canon 380EX too and it works fine too. But due to the fact that our FZ20 has no TTL, playing with the settings and knowing how it works helps alot.

But if you definitely need reference on which one to use, you can always check this out...http://www.metz.de/en/photo_electron...tions.142.html

Cheers!

Thanks jaypeg,
Do you know the physical size difference between the Metz 36-C2 and the sunpak 383?
The metz has a wider coverage,28mm which would be good with the wcon- 08B, but the sunpak has a bigger guide #.Can't make up my mind on which one???
Gary!
