I like the first lake picture. It reminds me of a secluded version of Lake Louise near Banff in Alberta Canada. Here is a shot of Lake LousieI found on the web (not taken by me).

fmoore, the greenish tint is real. I don't know the cause, but it's real. It adds to the feel of the photos.. brings back many memories...

Louis Lake is stunning.. I saw more photos of it on the net... but Saiful Muluk would appeal much more to me personally, as it is undisturbed by the government, and there aren't much facilities there... there is no proper road to reach it, which adds to the thrill.. there aren't many tourists there (although it's very famous), especially after it starts to get dark... the whole experience is too adventurous.. there are other lakes of this kind, but frozen, which require a 4 hour hiking, with no facilities on the way, except a local guide.It was once popular with foreign tourists,but these days very few tourists coem to Pakistan....
