Post it without the color. The addition of color to monotone is distracting and does not really accentuate the B/W conversion.

Funny, I took almost the same shot as your first one last weekend, only I decided to junk mine. Yours looks much more interesting. I always seem to think other peoples photos are much more interesting than mine. I don't know if it's just me, or if my skills are just that bad!:G

The idea to colorize parts of a greyscale image is not new. I like the effect on some images. However on your images, using 3 destinct colours confuses my eye. IMO use 1 subject, 1 colour
