A Heron about 75 to 100 yards across a lake. After it landed it went fishing for dinner.

An Osprey just after catching its dinner. Same place as the Heron they just fish differently. It was over 100+ yards away.

Nice shots! I wish the background on the Heron pic wasn't so busy. Itcamouflages the lovely heron flying off. The crow is spot on clear and I love the Osprey with fish shot but I think it could use more contrast to cut through all those air molecules the 14B has to go through.

Thanks pappy. Hiroshi, I tried with the Osprey but that is the best I could come up with. My PP skills are not the best.

I'm curious as to what program you're using...if it's Photoshop, I can understand....too complicated for me. I use Digital Image Pro...all I did is, up the contrast andlowered the brightness a little, here is the results:

Yes looks better. I have PS elements 2 but I use PhotoImpact 8 because it seems easier to me. I did try all that but it just never looked right to me. Go figure. Thanks.
