During my project: fixing "large" lenses to the FZ5, I had to solve some problems.

1. fixing heavy equipment - solved (see closeup forum)
2. changing batteries (no AC-adapter) and SD-cards of a fixed and adjusted camera
3. wire release (time delay is boring!)

I am using this setup for stationary macros and for copying large amounts of slides from my old nikon via slide projector.

The picture shows how I solved my last remaining problems.
Jessops has a wire release for small digital cameras, but this was more fun.
The clamp was built with well known bricks. The clamp itself is stucked together (glue).
The head is variable. Both contacts to the camera are coated with rubber.

Minor changes to the head make it possible even to serve exotic cameras.

Experts of this brick system will find pneumatic or even electric solutions.
The colours were not chosen to hurt your eyes, but simply for demonstration.
This is my first zoto test, are the pictures visible?
...
hope there is some response.

My LEGO friends will kill me, they never modify the bricks! It is a sacrilege.
But it is the "offical" glue: gamma- Butyrolacton
