Hi,

Yesterday I went to the forest and found out that wood wasps has appeared (didn't see anyone before this year). They were searching for the place where to lay eggs under the bark of fallen spruce trunks and therefor didn't even notice me. Most of them were actually doing their dirty work - laying eggs in the trunk (as you can see in my pictures).
Taken as usual with FZ20 and MBS-10 binocular lens.
All comments apreciated!

Wonderflie good. X, that is some binocular lens! Excellent photos. The long reddish-brown protrusion is an ovipositor?
