When I first saw them the fly was still struggling with the spider but once the spider sunk the fangs in the fly did not last long.

The way the fly's legs are tied up it reminds me of a rodeo.

Awesome pictures! Which camera did you use, and did you use a close up lens? Really terrific work! Every time I come to this forum I see some of the best pictures posted out of any photo site!

Absolutely stunning shots...Tcook you have captured the story perfectly...I feel sorry for that unlucky fly....Is that the broken eye in the 2nd shot??? Those aer some really sharp shots you got

Thanks all for the kind comments. Thanks to my camera (and others on this forum) I get to see some of the things that go on around us that I don't normally see.
Nancy, I have a FZ15 and a Nikon 6t lens. I used the flash on the last shot because of low light.
arunpd, I am not sure about the eye.
