took a long weekend and went to the coast hoping to get some nice shots. the weather wasn't cooperative, though, for the first couple of days, and the beacheswere fogged in. Saturday cleared up, though, and let me capture some nice images, especially later in the evening as the sun went down...

Friday afternoon... even the gulls were waiting for the sun!

Saturday - a bit clearer, but still not great...

later that afternoon, and 30 miles farther south...

then the evening. this was what i was waiting for!! :G Ruby Beach 10 minutes before sunset...

and a few minutes later...

finally, this last shot...

Number 4 is a real nice shot. I'd crop out the tree on left.

The fog can sure create a mood. I like them all especially 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Very dreamy and

All of them are good....I love the last 4...the colors in those are gorgeous....Its such a great feeling when you are at such locations....
I actually I like the first one too....especially the reflections of seagulls on wet sand...

All very nice shots. No. 3 would be my pick, if I had to. Reminds me of home.

All the pre-sunset pictures are breath taking. I can't decide which one I like best. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic!
Especially the last four...I would not crop out the tree as someone suggested. I think the silhouette adds a lot to the over all photo.
