Saw these little fellas at the golf course today. Looks like they will be lucky enough not to get a fork in their horns this year and will not be legal to shoot this deer season ( I only shoot with my camera). Their horns are still covered with velvet which they should be getting rid of soon. The one on the right is a little bigger than the other so he was chasing him away from some apples they were eating. He would kick him with his front leg.

This is what they will look like in a few years if nothing happens to them. I took this about 3 years ago with an old Kodak I had.

tcook, these are beautiful shots. Congratulations on your wonderful captures.

BTW, is that a two-headded deer I see? How does it go to the bathroom???:G:G:G

Thanks for the comments. I really love watching the deer. Later during mating season some larger bucks start showing up and once in awhile I get to see some fighting. Nothing serious just some head butting to determine who's the king of the hill.
Hiroshi, now that's a good one maybe I'll send it to Ripley's. I am going to send a copy to some om my friends.
