There was a blue cover of a book in the background, and I decided to use it like Tchuanye did with the Pepsi can in his butterfly pic/avatar-logo

Narmer...those are stunning shots....I love the compositions....Thecolors ...The sharpness....Actually there is absolutely nothing thatI dont likehere...
Did you use external flash??

Very colourful indeed! Well captured

BTW, my Avatar was not taken with a Pepsi can behind....it was taken at a butterfly park, and they had this blue/white/red plastic plate to feed the butterflies with slices of oranges etc....and that was the background.

But what you did (with the background), is an interesting idea, and I think it does add a new dimension to the pic.
