I've been reading the forum for a while but havn't posted anything. Now that my new toy has arrived I might as well start posting some pics!!!

I'm clearly still figuring out how to use the FZ20 so I look forward to learning from you guys!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Beeeeeeeeeeeeeer!!! Nice and frosty. Nice shot of Scooter. The flower looks to be a little soft. Good first try. I've had my FZ20 for six months and I'm still on a learning curve:?.

Nice.

Remember that taking good photos implies:

1) A- having something nice to photograph;B -having the eye for the shot (or knowing or forseeing a nice shooting occasion)

2) knowing how to use your camera at its best

3) knowing how to use Photoshop or similar PP progs

Some will agree that #2 is the least important of all, for the rules in photography are few and basic and most Digicams can take acceptable to great shots even in P or Auto mode, although all cams, from Compact to dSLR give the best of themselves in the hands of a person who is really capable to use them.

After all, "Creativity" is more in # 1 and 3, than in technical matters and manual of nr. 2, although these are important, nearly fundamental too.
