Had to work all day tearing down a wood deck (not NEARLY as much fun as building one! and a slow process when you're trying to save the lumber) Anyway, pulling the treated wood away from the brick exterior revealed this community. Not the best photos as I had to just grab and shoot, then get back to work. Didn't realize they'd congregate so thickly in one place !

That was just one 'nest' of them. I thought I was in the Twilight Zone or in a new version of Hitchcock's "The Birds". They were hoppin' everywhere once they were 'discovered'. Good thing they're small or I'd have freaked out. Wish I would have had some time to get better shots and maybe some macros. Oh well.
