i am trying to post a pic of an exotic animal from the hill country of Texas. this is my first attempt and i apologize, i can't figure out how to copy the pic to this page. it is probably too large. i have it on Picasso. can i reduce size on c drive so it will copy?

please advise.

Hi Joe,

You have to keep the size to 250 kb or below. If you have a program to reduce the size, a good rule is to post pictures that are 800 X 600 pixels. They will go through every time and are also a good size for everyone to view.

Hope this helps,

Hiroshi

In picasa with the pic selected click on export, select the size 800x600. The next step is to select the image quality, 85 to 100 percent usually works well. A window will open with the exorted file showing check the size if it is close to 250k post it. If it is to large lower the image quality until it is close to 250k.

Lovely animals. What camera settings did you use? Did you have a teleconverter or just the built-in zoom?
