Bought the Phayee a few months back, but am in the market for a Hama 72mm hood. Was curious if the provided 72mm extension is also threaded at the front to accept 72mm accessories.

I was originally going to just mount the Hama to the 72mm threads on the adapter, but I think the 62mm section (with filter) protrudes too much to allow a center-opening cap.

Thanks in advance!

The Phayee lens adapter ring does have 72mm threads.

I keep my FZ20>Phayee lens adapter>62mm filter>72mm Phayee ring>72mm Hama rubber colapsing hood>62mm center-opening teathered lens cap together most of the time. The 72mm Hama hood vignettes less that the 62mm hood at low zoom. To elimanate all vignetting just push the Hama hood back one step with the palm of your hand. I keep the hood pushed all the way back when placed in my handy waist-pac.
