Have been really busy, folks, and haven't had a chance to check in to see what's going on in the forum. Just got back from a business trip in San Francisco and escaped long enough to take some pictures of the city and landscape.

If you wish to view, go to mtritt.smugmug.com and navigate to Vacations and Places | San Francisco.

Each picture is captioned to one degree or another. All photos have gone through at least a little post processing in Photoshop. All pictures taken with an FZ-20.

All opinions welcome.

Very nice galleries. The San Francisco shots are great.

Great pics. Liked the last photo of Golden Gate Bridge the most!
Plus of course the sea lions....

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I like the bridge shots, too. I'm finding I really like night photography. I should be going back in March. There is a large hill on the north side of the bridge, so I should be able to get some nice light streaks from a high vantage point. I'm also partial to architecture and city shots. You can learn a lot about a city and its people by looking at a street picture and its content - buildings, roads, traffic, trash. San Fran is definitely a beautiful and interesting place to visit.

Simply great shots all, but I do love that dog of yours.

Thanks!

Her name is Molly. That picture was the last one I took with my Olympus C-50. I held the camera it up to myeye and she gave the classic dog "I don't understand" head tilt.

Very good shots. San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities for taking photos.
