Only recently I discovered that the FZ20 allows me to skip from one menue page to the next without using the four-way-button. Simply flick the zoom lever. Much quicker. Makes an otherwise pain a breeze.

Wow! I didn't know that. I will certainly give it a go.

Thanks for the tip

I did read the manual for my FZ5, but I never noticed that one comment about using the zoom button to change the menu page. I have been clicking thru it to get to the next page, especially the focus settings, which is a pain in the butt.

THANKS!!!

AHAAA.....thanks for the tip! And I've gone through the manual several times. This feature will come in handy as quite often, I want to change the metering or AF mode...and one flick of the tele will save quite a few thumb movements!

Thanks!

By golly! I'm a stickler about reading manuals and I never saw that one.

THANKS TAZZIE!

I tried that trick on my FZ3 and it works for that model, too. I have read the manual cover-to-cover twice, and never saw it mentioned. Of course, that doesn't mean that it's not there, but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, thanks for the tip.
